Multiple OS in VPS Servers
In case you choose one of our VPS server packages, you will have as many as three different Operating Systems to pick from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They are all Linux distributions and we offer them instead of offering just a single OS, since the applications that you might choose to run on the server could have specific requirements about the software environment. Each of these three has certain pros regarding the available packages that you may eventually install, but what's common between them is the fact that they are really stable and reliable and have vast communities that support them. The internet hosting Control Panel choices for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, so as to give you more flexibility. When you order the virtual server with one OS and you need a different one later, our tech support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in a couple of minutes. We also offer the option to maintain the Operating System on your server up-to-date weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are absolutely free and they won't increase the cost of your new web hosting server, but also because they are exceptionally secure and stable. Each one of them is backed up by a huge community of developers, so you will be able to choose from countless software packages that you could install on your server if the app that you would like to employ has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we want to give you as much adaptability as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a certain OS, we will change it upon request in case it turns out that you will need a different one. We can also keep the OS updated weekly as a part of our useful Managed Services upgrade.
